UKI DASH Tournaments & The UKI DASH Open

UKI is launching a new series of tournaments designed for handlers who love flowing, fast courses with streamlined handling.

The UKI DASH (Dog Agility Streamlined Handling) Tournaments kick off in 2026 with 7 tournaments across North America. (see trial dates at foot of page)

Streamlined handling means we will be asking our judges to consider mid-range technical handling skills, no combined multiple-handling maneuvers, logical lines for dogs and handlers on courses with manageable distances (a range of 20-28 feet with an average maximum distance of 25 feet).  The course designs will align with the Senior UKI level, offering logical, flowing layouts with minimal off-course traps (e.g. no threadles, with backside approaches on the dog's line and easy for the handler to support). This streamlined approach allows handlers and dogs to focus on refining their skills and achieving smooth, efficient runs.

What Makes UKI DASH Different?

  • Speedstakes-inspired courses focused on jumps, tunnels, and smooth, logical lines
  • Open to all UKI levels, with courses designed at the UKI Senior level
  • Two main event formats: the Steeplechase DASH Challenge and the DASH Triathlon
  • Steeplechase DASH Challenge rounds based on Speedstakes and Steeplechase courses
  • DASH Triathlon featuring a Jumping round, a Fusion Steeplechase round (including an A-frame and teeter), and a Speedstakes round

Big Rewards for Top Competitors
Winners of the DASH tournaments will earn Byes into the US Open & West Coast Open Speedstakes Finals, along with Round 2 National Byes at the US Open & Canadian Open. They will also receive Byes for the newly announced UKI DASH Open in 2027 (see details below)
